Nilesh turns 26 this Febraury 13th 2010

Nilesh celebrated his 26 birthday this Febraury 13th 2010. We all family members got together to celebrate his birthday in a way that he would. His grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, cousins all had a ball of a time almost as if he were around.

It was a time where few of his friends had something to share about Nilesh. The post below was mailed by Varsha and Monalee, Nilesh's friends from his BDS days at PDU, Solapur.

What moves through us is silence,a quiet sadness,a longing 4 one more day,
one more touch, one more word,we may not understand why u left this earth so soon,
or why u left b4 we were ready to say good bye,but little by little,
we begin to realise not just that u died, but that u lived.
And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget........

"Sometimes you miss someone so much......
Dat you want to pick them from your dreams.....
And hug them for real !! "

Some Special things Ab't NILESH which we fondly remember on his Birthday......

About Nilesh :
He was a very charming and enthusiastic guy who wanted to do Engineering
but landed up doing BDS in Kegaon Solapur......
He stood 1st in the university even though the college
was new with very little facilities and no seniors to guide.....
He was the 1st G.S. of PDUDC and an all rounder who also participated
in inter college dance festival(Dhamaka)and inter college cricket tournaments....

Mugging up things was not his style of studying.....
he needed to understand the subject thoroughly....make notes...
which he used in time of revision during exams...and strictly follow the time table he made.....

And when ppl would be awake all night.... he would  doze off in peaceful slumber...
he could never remain awake whole night....just not his style :)

He never liked sitting idle...hence he had joined a  KPO,Cognizant Pfizer after BDS
and before he got admitted  to DDS...just to spend time working.

In DDS he had two Options out of which he choose  San Francisco....
There too he was working in a library along with studying there.

I found you, bro !

Preeti Pillai is Nileshs' first cousin sister in the family. Preeti - loved, cared and adored by all, found immense support from Nilesh when her brother Mahesh and Prashant were out of Pune for their studies/job. Preeti shares her love for Nilesh here...

I found you, bro!

Two days back, my brother Nilesh was cremated. But I’d say, and hope many of you would agree with me, that it was only his body that was cremated. His soul is still out there somewhere, at a place from where he could keep an eye on each one of us. He is out there, reading our thoughts and memories about him with a smile on his face, and praying for us when we cry for him. He is out there, in a place we’ve only heard of in stories and fables, a place where he has everything he’d ever really wanted, a place where there’s no struggle, only peace, a place which is his reward for the priceless 25 years he spent on this Earth, as a dear son and grandson, a caring brother, a precious friend, and a loving human being…and that place could be anywhere; people say it’s up above, beyond the skies, but I’d like to believe, that that place is inside each one of us, in our hearts…

Nilesh, whom I fondly call Sonuetan, has always been a very special brother. And it is a greater joy to know that my brother was a brother to many others, and was special to hundreds like he was to me. That was his purpose of life, I guess. He was born to be engraved in the lives of many, to teach them about goodness, sincerity and warmth, to make them feel loved. That was what God sent him on earth for. He was His Angel, and he had to go back home some day.

How else can you trace the reason behind the end of a bright life in its prime years? How else could you answer as to why did he get untimely death in return of his struggle and newly found victory? How else could you justify that feeling you have, that he’ll walk right in through that door once again, or that you’ll hear from him soon? How else would you label a life so pure and deplete of scars?

He must be smiling, now that he sees that we realize he was indeed an angel. Now we know.

Now we know that our friend, our brother, our dear one, was different from all of us, that he came from another place, and the serenity in his smiling eyes is now explained. We now know that he chose us. He chose to touch OUR lives. We are the lucky ones. We are in his heart. He was our Santa Claus, he came from up there with bags full of love and lessons of life, and gifted us with all of it. He knows us, and now he’s reporting about us to his senior. Don’t believe me? Then just keep track of the beautiful little things that happen in your lives henceforth. Then, you’ll know, how well of you he’s told his senior, and how blessed your life has become!

And you know what? Through his journey with us, he’s gotten so in love with us, and now that he can see how much we miss him, he’ll come back. He’ll come back in another form, as another being. His name may not be Nilesh, he may not be your friend; he may not have the same smile or voice. You may not recognize him in an instant. But someday, you will find him again. We all will. He may not come to me as my brother; he may come as a friend, as a teacher, as anybody. But I know, he’ll come back to me, to his mom, to his dad, to his people, to you.

All you have to do is believe, and reach out for him. And you’ll find, that there’s a part of that Nilesh in you, and in everybody you know. Look out for him around you, and whenever you’re tired of the quest, peep into your heart with your eyes closed, and there you’ll find him, wearing that same playful smile, saying, “You found me!!”

Yes, I found you, brother!

(Dear brother, you now live in a brand new place,

About which no living human knows for sure,

I hope that that place is more beautiful than your dream,

For 25 years of your goodness, its your prize..

You are everywhere, yet you are by me,

I can see you no more, but I know! )

Give Me Some Sunshine Lyrics

Saari umar hum
Mar mar ke jee liye
Ek pal to ab humein jeene do
Jeene do

Saari umar hum
Mar mar ke jee liye
Ek pal to ab humein jeene do
Jeene do

Saari umar hum
Mar mar ke jee liye
Ek pal to ab humein jeene do

Na na na….Na na na….Na na na….Na na nana na….

Give me some sunshine
Give me some rain
Give me another chance
I wanna grow up once again

Give me some sunshine
Give me some rain
Give me another chance
I wanna grow up once again

Kandhon ko kitabon
Ke bojh ne jhukaya
Rishvat dena to khud
Papa ne sikhaya
99% marks laaoge to ghadi, varna chhadi

Likh likh kar pada hatheli par
Alpha, beta, gamma ka chaala
Concentrated H2SO4 ne poora
Poora bachpan jalaa daala

Bachpan to gaya
Jawani bhi gayi
Ek pal to ab humein
Jeene do jeene do

Bachpan to gaya

Nileshs' Fav track - Kings and Queens...

Kings and Queens by 30 seconds to Mars was one of Nileshs' fav track from the recent releases.....
"i am not able to get over this song! " is what he said for this song...

Kings and Queens Lyrics

Into the night
Desperate and broken
The sound of a fight
Father has spoken

We were the kings and queens of promise
We were the victims of ourselves
Maybe the children of a lesser God
Between Heaven and Hell
Heaven and Hell

Into your eyes
Hopeless and taken
We stole our new lives
Through blood and pain
In defense of our dreams
In defense of our dreams

We were the Kings and Queens of promise
We were the victims of ourselves
Maybe the Children of a lesser God
Between Heaven and Hell
Heaven and Hell

The age of man is over
A darkness comes at dawn
These lessons that we learned here
Have only just begun

We were the Kings and Queens of promise
We were the victims of ourselves
Maybe the Children of a Lesser God
Between Heaven and Hell

We are the Kings
We are the Queens
We are the Kings
We are the Queens

Memorial Service For Nilesh at WKU on 30th of Dec'2009

Dear Friends and Family of Nilesh,

Nilesh was very dear to the Bowling Green Indian and International communities, and the Public Health department at WKU. In memory of him, we organized a memorial service for him on the 30th of December, 2009. The memorial was attended by many of his friends, professors and other officials from WKU. It just shows how much he was loved by all. Attached are photos we took from the memorial, as well as a video of what transpired.

We miss Nilesh deeply, and we are here if you need us.

There will be an official memorial service for him after WKU re-opens. We will keep you informed of the schedule.
